Vanessa Minnillo will be hosting ‘Wipeout,’ but there was one TV hosting gig that she recently lost out on that could have been pretty major.

Minnillo recently revealed that she was passed over for hosting the U.S. ‘X Factor,’ states RadarOnline.com. But, Nick Lachey’s new wife is just fine with it.

“They went with a British guy. You can’t be more polar opposite, so I am okay with that,” Minnillo admitted.

Now, she will be hosting the new season of ‘Wipeout’ and someday planning for a family: “People get married and try to have kids. I am excited for that when it comes.”
