Now that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are expecting their first child together, the father-to-be apparently wants to clear up some rumors.

While the two called off their engagement last summer, Cutler wants fans to know that it wasn’t something he did to his once again girlfriend, states UsMagazine.com. “We don’t usually comment on our relationship, but for the record I never broke up with Kristin. It’s unfortunate some people are saying hurtful things during such a joyous moment in our life,” Cutler commented on Twitter.

The two are now celebrating their big news while fans are wondering if it will work after the bumpy year the two have had.
