Demi Lovato has had a lot change in the last year as she spent last Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s in rehab.

Lovato recently wrote in ‘Seventeen’ magazine about how thankful she is for the holidays this year, states UsMagazine.com. “Thinking about how far I have come in a year makes me so thankful,” Lovato said about getting to be with her family this year.

However, she is also thankful for what she went through last year: “Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life. I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles.”
